Hi!  I'm Emily @emilyjacobhair

I have been a stylist in the Portland area for nearly a decade now.  Behind the chair, I am passionate about highly customized colors and cuts that make each individual client feel empowered and, frankly, hot.  I like to approach my work as a partnership with my clients- our common goal being creating and maintaining a head of hair that you love when you leave the salon and every day between appointments.

My specialty lies in all things hair color and textured haircutting.  I am skilled in the art of color correction, and my career has developed with a special focus on the full spectrum of blonding.  I'm here for it all- my clients include the vibrant gingers you notice across the street, the chill sea salty blondes, the deep and rich brunettes, and everyone in between!

My haircuts are tailor-made to look and feel awesome whether you are going for an all-out blowout or are rolling around in bed. I am well-versed in both razor and shear cutting.  Working with the natural texture and unique growth pattern of your hair is always going to be the best route in my book.

Outside of the salon, you’ll most likely find me with an eighty-pound pitbull-husky, Cabeza de Vaca, by my side. I’m all about travel, music, and getting outside as much as possible, and am also working to make my dream of owning a late 60’s El Camino come true!
